IT development in radiology

The aim of Digital Imaging Adoption Model (DIAM), a joint project established by the European Society of Radiology and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, is to assist imaging institutions in implementing increasingly integrated IT systems and improving patient care. This statement delivers an overview of DIAM’s framework, what its application has so far revealed and, lastly, provides an outlook on the future.
