Alternative techniques to gadolinium-based contrast agents in MR neuroimaging
This review discuses non-contrast-enhanced MRI techniques that can be used as alternatives for the use of gadolinium-based contrast agents (GBCAs). The authors included clinical studies on the diagnostic performance and contrast-enhanced MRI methods and described advantages and disadvantages together with the diagnostic performance of each method.
